About the Artist

Born 1976, Yoon is interested in the invisible properties of glass (transparency, refraction, and distortion), and continuously explores ways of making those properties visible.

These invisible but real properties of glass are an appropriate medium to explore hidden aspects of societal conversations and sterotypes. He exposes socially constructed notions of race, class, and gender by combining images of the human body with materials that posses invisible properties.

Printed as a series of folding A2 posters for Centrefold

Updated to include video and images from Mirror Armor 2021
